The Fitting Clinic by 5 Daughters Enterprises teaches youth ages 8-18 how to prepare livestock for the show ring through hands-on instruction in halter breaking, grooming, washing, blow-drying, and clipping. Participants learn professional fitting skills used at county, state, and national shows while building confidence and responsibility. The clinic covers breed-specific preparation for Limousin, Red Angus, Shorthorn, and Maine-Anjou cattle, giving young exhibitors the knowledge to compete at the highest level regardless of background. Based on a 50-acre ranch in Henderson County, Texas, the program serves underserved rural and inner-city youth in FFA and 4-H who lack access to professional fitting instruction. Each participant receives mentorship, a fitting guide, and skills that translate into leadership, discipline, and agricultural career readiness.
