At the heart of our work is Echoes of Freedom – Reclaiming the Haitian National Anthem, a cultural and social justice initiative. Through music, storytelling, workshops, and dialogue, we strengthen identity and resilience among Haitian inheritors. By reclaiming the anthem in Haitian Kreyòl, we address intergenerational trauma, foster belonging, and build resistance against anti-Haitianism at home and in the diaspora. We also serve Haiti’s rural communities with the Kan Zaka Medes summer camp, vocational scholarships, goat gifting programs, and agroecology education—helping families achieve self-determination and a sustainable, proud future.
