AnchorHER: The Second Sunrise Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering single mothers of color who are survivors of domestic violence or reentry after incarceration. We provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive support through a structured program that integrates emotional healing, job readiness training, goal-setting, and educational resources. Participants also receive access to essential community services such as childcare assistance, housing referrals, and mental
