**What is a microschool and how does it differ from traditional schooling models?**

A microschool is a modern, innovative approach to education that offers small class sizes and individualized support. At Ascension Leadership Academy, our microschool model provides a safe, trauma-informed, STEM-focused middle school experience. This is different from traditional schools where class sizes may be larger and individual attention might be less. Our focus on trauma-informed, relationship-centered environment and project-based learning connected to real community problems sets us apart.

**What does a typical day look like at Ascension Leadership Academy?**

A typical day at our academy includes a full-day microschool experience built around safety, relationships, and academic growth. Our students engage in STEM-focused, hands-on, project-based learning connected to real community problems. We also integrate social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and leadership development into our daily curriculum.
