B Beautiful Foundation, Inc’s Homesteading Educational Program empowers individuals and communities in Ohio to build resilient, sustainable lifestyles through hands-on learning and demonstration projects. The program covers practical skills like ecological gardening, permaculture design, small-scale livestock care, food preservation, renewable energy basics, water harvesting, natural building, and self-reliant systems. Structured workshops, field days, and cohort learning integrate real-world practice with stewardship principles, fostering ecological literacy and food security. Through demonstration sites and partnerships with local organizations, participants gain experience in soil health, seed saving, beekeeping, agroforestry, and appropriate technology. The curriculum is designed to be inclusive and accessible, supporting beginners to advanced practitioners with scalable homestead models.
