Fights food apartheid in Seattle with aquaponic-grown cultural produce/fish
We combat food apartheid in Seattle’s underserved Beacon Hill and Rainier Beach by growing culturally relevant produce (bok choy, collards) and fish (tilapia, catfish) via sustainable aquaponics. We provide sliding-scale CSA boxes for affordable access to fresh food, STEM workshops for schools, and job training for marginalized communities. Our closed-loop system uses 90% less water, partners with local organizations, and empowers neighborhoods through food sovereignty, economic resilience.
