**What types of massage therapies does Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc offer?**

At Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc, we offer several types of massage therapies including relaxation massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage (available after the first trimester), and sports massage. Our therapists and team will recommend the best massage approach based on your specific needs.

**What is the policy for prenatal massage at Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc?**

Prenatal massage is available at our clinic after the first trimester. We use support pillows and bolsters for comfort and positioning, and clients do not need to bring their own. If you are in your first trimester or have any pregnancy complications or concerns, we encourage you to call us so we can advise and coordinate appropriately. As a gentle safety reminder, we also advise you to follow guidance from your OB/midwife.

**What is the policy for massage for minors at Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc?**

At Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc, we don't have a specific age minimum for massage. However, for minors, a parent or guardian's consent is required. If you're considering a massage for a child or minor, we encourage you to call us so we can discuss the best approach for the child's comfort and needs.

**What should I expect for my first massage at Berrien Family Chiropractic Inc?**

If it's your first massage, we recommend you wear comfortable clothing. During the massage, you'll be professionally draped with a sheet or blanket and you can undress to your comfort level. Your therapist will ask about your goals, any sore spots, and your pressure preference. You can speak up anytime to adjust the pressure or focus areas. We advise you to arrive a few minutes early, drink water, and let us know about any injuries, pregnancy, or medical concerns. If you're unsure about the type or length of the massage you should choose, we can help you decide when you call.
