**What is the purpose of BrightSteps LLC and who are its primary audiences?**

BrightSteps LLC is a school-to-work transition program based in Middle Tennessee. We are dedicated to helping teens and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities transition out of high school and into meaningful employment. Our program focuses on building practical skills, confidence, and personalized post-graduation roadmaps for each individual. Our primary audiences are these individuals and their families, but we also work with educators, transition coordinators, therapists, and community/employer partners.

We offer several key services aimed at supporting our participants' transition into the workforce. These include a structured school-to-work transition support program, 1:1 job coaching, and community-based instruction. These offerings are designed to help participants explore vocational interests, build readiness skills, develop job skills, and practice these skills in real-world settings.

We differentiate ourselves through our person-centered approach, focus on real-world practice, and individualized pathways for each participant. We provide 1:1 coaching and community-based instruction, which allows participants to gain real-life experience. Our emphasis is on dignity, confidence, independence, and meaningful employment. We also provide supportive guidance for families during the “services cliff” after graduation.

You can enroll in our program by completing the enrollment form on our website at https://www.brightstepstn.org/enrollment. After you've completed the enrollment form, we will follow up with you promptly and personally to discuss the next steps.

**What information will I need to provide when enrolling?**

During enrollment, we'll need some basic information like parent/guardian name, participant name, email, phone (optional), participant age and current school status, location, primary employment and independence goals, a brief overview of support needs (optional), preferred start timeline, and the best way to follow up with you. We aim to keep this process as friendly and low-pressure as possible.
