CEO App / Check 'Em Out is a professional accountability and civic-tech initiative. We grade elected officials, corporations, and the press against 10 progressive accountability goals. Our aim is to provide clarity of goals and strategy for 48 million Black Americans—and all citizens. We use a 2026-level direct-contact strategy to engage these channels and help supporters take meaningful action.

**What are the 10 progressive accountability goals of CEO App / Check 'Em Out?**

The 10 progressive accountability goals are: Economic Development, Improving Education, Environmental Justice, Healthcare Parity, Crime and Community Safety, Reparative Justice, Media Reform, Voting Rights, Constitutional Amendments, and Law Enforcement Reform. Each goal is explained in plain language and we offer to dive deeper on the visitor’s top 1–2 priorities.

**How does CEO App / Check 'Em Out grade officials/corporations/media?**

We grade each entity across all 10 goals. Each entity receives a separate grade for each goal (A/B/C/D/F/U). An overall summary can be derived from the goal-by-goal grades, but our core value is the clarity of per-goal accountability. 

**How often do grades update and what is the grading system?**

Grades are updated 4 times per year, creating opportunities for growth and improvement. The grading system ranges from A to U. An 'A' signifies consistent leadership and advocacy, a 'C' indicates agreement in spirit but no effort to create change, and a 'U' denotes unknown or unsatisfactory knowledge of an entity’s position.
