Domestic Violence is now a Workplace responsibility. CA Senate Bill SB 553 has over 30 mandates to meet compliance requirements. This law falls under the Labor Code, making it HR's role to implement the plan. 
Most people are not trained how to help a victim/survivor, let alone identify, prevent, respond, and recover from domestic violence entering the workplace.
