**What is Divide and how does it work?**

Divide is a checkout intelligence and credit-card optimization platform delivered as a free Chrome extension. We help online shoppers make smarter payment decisions at checkout by recommending which credit card to use for each online purchase based on real reward rates and credit utilization. This allows you to earn more rewards while protecting your credit health.

**How does Divide decide which credit card to use at checkout?**

Divide takes into account the reward rates and credit utilization of your credit cards to recommend the best card to use at checkout. We use real-time, context-aware recommendations, not static reward charts. This optimizes your rewards and protects your credit health.

**What differentiates Divide from other credit card reward optimization platforms?**

Divide differs in several ways. We provide real-time, context-aware recommendations at checkout, unlike others which often use static reward charts. We balance rewards optimization with credit health, keeping in mind your credit utilization. We prioritize our users and make recommendations for their benefit, not based on merchant commissions or cashback arrangements. Lastly, we provide plain-English explanations to help users learn better habits.

**Is Divide safe to use and what data do you collect?**

Your privacy is our top priority. We do not need or want your full card numbers. We only collect necessary information such as which cards you use (issuer + card name) and top shopping sites you use. We follow best practices and encourage you to refer to our site for the latest privacy details.

**How can I get started with Divide?**

You can get started with Divide by getting beta access at https://dividepay.ai. After signing up, you'll be guided through the installation process of our Chrome extension. If you need any assistance or have any feedback or bug reports, you can reach out to us through the contact fields provided.
