Fox Run specializes in the growth and sale of fresh, log-cultivated shiitake mushrooms. We offer these mushrooms seasonally to our local customers and to farmers market shoppers. Additionally, we supply our mushrooms to markets and restaurants on a wholesale basis during the season.

**When is the mushroom season at Fox Run?**

Our shiitake mushroom season typically runs from late April through the end of November, weather permitting. Unfortunately, we do not have mushroom availability outside of this season.

**Are the mushrooms from Fox Run foraged?**

No, our shiitake mushrooms are not foraged. We cultivate them on logs right here on our farm. The logs are cut and inoculated on our farm, and the mushrooms are fruited outdoors for a fresh, log-grown crop.

**How can I buy mushrooms from Fox Run?**

During the season, you can buy our fresh shiitake mushrooms from local markets and through website ordering when product is available. For the exact dates and availability, we recommend checking our website or signing up for updates.
