Ihsan Ishan Design

Ihsan Ishan Design is an award-winning multidisciplinary studio creating meaningful art, fashion, products, exhibitions, experiences that promote diversity, education, and cultural understanding. Led by Creative Director and Hindu chaplain Sangeetha Kowsik—the first woman of color to lead a design team at The Met and one of the few Hindus trained in Islamic calligraphy—we use art and design to unite communities, champion global representation, and build interfaith and cross-cultural connection.
