**1) How can I get involved in a community garden?**

We’re thrilled you're interested in getting involved! We connect interested individuals to local sites, share information about upcoming training sessions, and match volunteers with garden plots based on interest and availability. To get started, please let us know your county/city, availability, and whether you're interested in a plot, volunteer role, or training. You can email us this information at LBJTrust@proton.me.

**2) What impact does my donation make?**

We appreciate your desire to support our work! Every donation is instrumental in advancing our mission. For instance, typically, every $1,000 can help plant and equip a new garden plot that can help feed about 50 families annually while teaching sustainable skills. Please remember that outcomes can vary, but rest assured, every donation contributes significantly to our cause. To discuss donation options and how your support can directly fund new community gardens, please email LBJTrust@proton.me.

**3) Where are your gardens located?**

Our gardens are primarily located in Montgomery and surrounding counties including Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, Pike, and Bullock. We prioritize food desert areas and underused public/trust land. If you're interested in getting involved or visiting a garden, please let us know which county you're in and what type of involvement you're interested in. You can email us at LBJTrust@proton.me.

**4) Do you accept in-kind donations like tools, compost, seeds, or lumber?**

Yes, we do accept in-kind donations! These contributions are greatly appreciated and help us in our mission to create sustainable gardens for food security, education, and jobs. If you're interested in making an in-kind donation, please email us at LBJTrust@proton.me, and we can discuss the specifics.

**5) I'm a landowner—can I offer land for a garden site?**

Absolutely! We're always looking for opportunities to transform underused land into productive community gardens. If you're interested in offering land for a garden site, please email us at LBJTrust@proton.me to discuss the potential next steps.
