MAD Books is a mission-driven children's publishing and literacy brand founded by educator and author Malcolm Dill. Centered around the Marvin’s First Day book series, MAD Books creates stories and experiences that help young readers navigate big “firsts” — from the first day of school to the first pet. The books are written for children ages 5–10 and are designed to spark meaningful conversations, ease anxiety, and build confidence.
