**What makes Órale Homestead LLC unique?**

Órale Homestead LLC is unique because we are a family-owned, minority-owned candle brand that handcrafts eco-friendly, small-batch candles. Our candles are poured in thrifted, often one-of-a-kind mugs, plus hand-poured concrete vessels. We focus on creating a cozy ambiance, promoting self-care, and expressing culture through our creations.

**What are the top scents that Órale Homestead LLC recommends?**

We often recommend the following scents based on our customers' preferences:

- Blood Orange: Bright, citrusy, energizing, and imparts a "fresh-start" vibe. Great for kitchens, mornings, and spring/summer gifts.
- Twilight: Cozy, moody, with a wind-down vibe. Perfect for evenings, bedrooms, and rainy-day self-care.
- Fairy Garden: Soft, whimsical, with a fresh/floral-ish "pretty" vibe. Ideal for gifts, bathrooms, and light daytime burn.
- Black Sea: Clean, deep, with a slightly cologne/ocean-air vibe. Suitable for living rooms, office, and “not too sweet” preferences.
- Northern Lights: Crisp, cool, with an outdoorsy/fresh vibe. Great for those who want clean air and a cozy, wintery/evergreen-adjacent mood.

**What is Órale Homestead LLC's approach to shipping and processing?**

We typically process orders within 2 business days. It's important to note that processing time is separate from carrier shipping/transit time, which can vary. We encourage customers who need their orders by a certain date to order as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we can't promise delivery dates unless our website explicitly provides them.

**What should I do if I have an issue with my order from Órale Homestead LLC?**

If you have an issue with your order, such as it being damaged on arrival, receiving the wrong item, it arriving late, or changing your mind and wanting to return it, please email us at nicoc@oralehomesteadcandles.com detailing your issue, and we'll take care of you. If possible, include your order number and the email used at checkout. If your item was damaged, a photo would be helpful as well.

**What are the candle care and safety guidelines that Órale Homestead LLC recommends?**

We recommend that customers trim the wick to ~1/4 inch before each burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt to the edges to reduce tunneling. It's important never to leave the candle unattended and keep it away from kids and pets, and avoid drafts. Stop using the candle when a small amount of wax remains. For specific inquiries, we suggest following the label instructions and reaching out to us for confirmation.
