Spoken word poetry writing and Performing class

Poetic Perspectives is a unique initiative I started after developing a 15-week poetry performance curriculum aimed at bridging the gap between neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals, as well as promoting understanding among diverse perspectives in general. My mission is to empower individuals by not only giving them a voice but also teaching them how to express themselves. As a Black autistic woman who was once nonverbal, I experienced the profound impact of finding my own voice. Through Poetic Perspectives, I create a space where individuals can learn the tools they need to articulate their thoughts and feelings confidently, fostering connection and understanding among all participants.
