Backpacks for the Homeless This seasonal outreach initiative provides pre-packed backpacks filled with essential hygiene items, non-perishable snacks, socks, gloves, blankets, and resource cards to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Charlotte area. Distributions are held at strategic community locations where individuals gather. Target Population: Adults experiencing homelessness Frequency: Quarterly distributions with winter surge support Year 1 Goal: Distribute 500 backpacks Funding Approach: Corporate donations, individual giving, in-kind contributions
