Sixteen Oaks Botanical Garden provides community classrooms centered on horticultural and agricultural programs
Sixteen Oaks Botanical Garden provides community classrooms centered on horticultural and agricultural programs. Our thematic gardens feature native plants, such as the sensitive vine, upside-down butterfly pea, and yellow jasmine. These gardens offer hands-on experiences, allowing visitors to observe the sensitive vine's closing leaves and learn about the edible butterfly pea flower, which is used in blue tea. We also conduct workshops on vital topics like native plant identification, container gardening, invasive species control, and floral arrangements.
