**What is the mission of The Anchoring?**

The Anchoring is a nonprofit transitional housing program aimed at helping individuals experiencing homelessness move from instability to long-term self-sufficiency. We provide a safe, structured, supportive housing environment paired with individualized goal-setting, accountability, life-skills development, employment readiness support, financial literacy, and connections to healthcare and community services.

**How can I support The Anchoring?**

There are several ways to support our mission. The most impactful way is through monthly donations, which help us plan responsibly and cover essential startup and operating expenses. You can choose to donate $50, $100, or $150 per month. Alternatively, you can make a one-time donation. All donations can be made through our website at https://www.the-anchoring.com/donate. 

**Why does monthly giving matter?**

Monthly giving matters because it creates stable, predictable support, allowing us to plan responsibly, cover essential startup/operating expenses, and keep momentum toward opening our first transitional home. It helps us budget, build, and launch with consistency.

**Do you accept in-kind donations?**

At this time, we are not accepting in-kind donations. However, we plan to accept them in the future. For now, we encourage financial donations at https://www.the-anchoring.com/donate or you can email fundraising@the-anchoring.com to be notified when in-kind giving opens.

Our startup costs include branding, fundraising and outreach costs, program launch infrastructure, and other early-stage operational needs that help us get to opening our first home.
