**What is the Unified Veteran Stability Project (UVSP) and what does it do?**

The Unified Veteran Stability Project (UVSP) is a veteran-focused housing stability program. Based in Redding, CA, we serve Shasta County and the surrounding Tri-Shasta region. We aim to provide safe, stable housing pathways and supportive services for veterans experiencing homelessness, crisis, or unsafe living conditions. We work closely with veterans, landlords, and community partners to create long-term housing solutions that restore dignity and stability.

**How can I contact the UVSP?**

The primary contact method for UVSP is through text at (530) 999‑1404. However, we also accept phone calls at the same number and emails at tsvhsp@gmail.com. We always recommend texting first when possible for a quick and efficient response.

**What are the requirements for veterans to participate in the UVSP program?**

To participate in the UVSP program, veterans need to be sober on the day of intake and willing to stay sober throughout their participation. As our housing is designated as a sober house environment, alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted on the property. Veterans will also need to undergo a quick screening, followed by a full intake process.

**What kind of partnerships does UVSP have with landlords and property owners?**

We work with landlords and property owners based on a partnership model. They can choose to either rent, sell (on owner-carry terms), or donate their property to us. We offer them a single point of contact and take full responsibility for oversight, thus providing a hassle-free experience.

**Is the UVSP a medical facility?**

No, UVSP is not a medical facility and we do not provide 24/7 medical supervision or hands-on personal care. We provide structured shared housing with rules, accountability, and support coordination. If a veteran requires full-time medical supervision or daily hands-on assistance, we advise them to contact us so we can help route them to appropriate resources.
