**How is V.I.T.A.L. different from a phone’s SOS or Garmin inReach?**

V.I.T.A.L. is designed to operate independently of the grid, meaning it doesn't require cell towers or Wi-Fi to function. Unlike a phone’s SOS or Garmin inReach, V.I.T.A.L. is designed to automatically activate in disasters and keep broadcasting a signal even when power is out, towers are down, and survivors may be trapped or unable to call for help. This is useful in situations like earthquakes or structural collapses where traditional communication methods may fail.

**Will V.I.T.A.L. work under rubble?**

V.I.T.A.L. is being designed and tested with the intent to work under rubble. However, we're in the process of validating its performance and reliability under realistic debris conditions before making any absolute claims. Our goal is to create a beacon that can help rescuers locate people faster, reducing the "visibility void" after disasters.

**Does V.I.T.A.L. need Wi-Fi or cell service to operate?**

No, V.I.T.A.L. is designed to operate off-grid, meaning it doesn't depend on Wi-Fi or cell service to work. This makes it potentially resilient in disaster situations where power grids and communication networks may be compromised or completely down.

**Who is V.I.T.A.L. meant for?**

V.I.T.A.L. is designed for families and homeowners in tornado or earthquake risk areas, people caring for vulnerable loved ones like children or the elderly, and first responders and search-and-rescue stakeholders seeking awareness. Its purpose is to provide a reliable means of being found after a disaster, irrespective of the survivor's ability to actively call for help.

**What stage is V.I.T.A.L. in and what are the next milestones?**

V.I.T.A.L. is currently in the development and validation stage. We are rigorously testing signal performance and reliability under realistic debris conditions. Our primary goal is to ensure the technology works as intended before making any claims or finalizing sales terms.
