With unemployment at levels not seen since the Great Depression, many Americans are struggling to find work, especially recent graduates. With millions of high school and college students graduating (virtually) this month and next, young people all over the country are struggling with how to make themselves attractive to recruiters  and hiring managers.

The good news is that while the job market is competitive, there are resources available right now, for free, that have never been complimentary before. From coding classes to resume help, read on for free resources to help you be the strongest candidate you can be.

One of the best things to do to make yourself an attractive job candidate is to learn a second language. Bilingual candidates can earn up to 20% more per hour, according to Salary.com. Language learning platform Mango, which has courses and exercises in over 70 languages,  has gone free until June 30th.

Get a Certificate from Coursera

Coursera is a platform that universities use for online classes and workshops. Many classes on Coursera were free before the pandemic, but in order to get a certificate of completion students had to pay a fee. That requirement has been waived for 115 courses on the site, so if you complete them you'll get a certificate you can include on your resume or show to an employer. A full list of courses is available here.

Attend the SalesForce Connections Conference Virtually

SalesForce's massive conference on engagement and digital tools has gone virtual this year, and it's also been made free.
