Over $20B was approved for Targeted EIDL grant funding in December 2020 — a way for certain businesses to be eligible for the full $10,000 EIDL Advances regardless of their number of employees. However, progress has been slow and as of June 5 — nearly 5 months after the Bill was signed into law and funding allocated — only around 6% of the funding has been distributed.
