Laura J. Niles Foundation Grant

Support for journalist entrepreneurs through grants and in-kind assistance to U.S. and Canadian news businesses. The investment is meant to help publishers at different phases of growth and will open the door to more money when applicants reach certain benchmarks. The News Startup Fund gives preference to minority founders in order to establish a more equitable media environment where everyone has access to historically informed, culturally relevant content.
