Details

Feed the Soul Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, developed to aid marginalized professionals in the culinary industry. The awarded grant amount for the RBDP recipients is $10,000, plus 6 months of business development consulting and training, at a value of $15,000. Here's how it works:

  • Applicant must be a "Culinary Business"
  • Must be at least 51% owned by a person (or persons) who identify as marginalized
  • US or Puerto Rico based, in operation 24 consecutive months
  • Have 4 or more employees
  • Must have an accounting software program like QuickBooks and must be willing to provide 3 years of financial statements including but not limited to; Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss/Income Statements, Taxes and General Ledgers
  • Grant applicant or owner must be committed to attending 2 hour virtual classes with industry experts from May-August and attending virtual and in-person meetings with consultant(s) for 4-6 hours per week for 6-8 weeks from September-November
  • Apply by January 31, 2024
