**What is the film "The Reflection in the Mirror" about?**

The short film follows a young woman, Sofía, who grapples with body image, self-worth, and the pressure to meet unrealistic beauty standards. As she navigates through these challenges, the film exposes a system teaching women to shrink themselves, both physically and emotionally. It aims to spark reflection and conversation about redefining worth beyond beauty standards.

**Why did Aguamala Films choose to tell this particular story?**

We believe in centering women’s stories and amplifying underrepresented voices. This film is an opportunity to shed light on important issues like body image and self-worth, which affect many women. Our aim is not to blame individuals, but to expose a system that often undermines women's self-confidence and to start a conversation about redefining worth beyond beauty standards.
