Constantly changing environmental factors are unfortunately, barriers and obstacles for community members. In this current day and time, everything is online!! Our brave elders are too stubborn to open their mental space to actually learn how to utilize a “smart/dumb” phone. Nonetheless; an individual that is abled bodied and has the ability to assist in their obligations and financial situations conversion to online. There will be a day when that senior will gain a will and a need to figure it out on their own…she learned how to navigate that Samsung phone like it was nobodies business. Until she needed to do something important..and it she felt as if it was her neighborly duty to report the encampment. However, the application she was attempting to use just had her going in a loop and never finding the correct place to file her complaint. Unfortunately, this is the new normal. You got to know somebody that knows somebody right?!
