**What does Hands Helping Heroes do?**

We are a Colorado-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing alternative healthcare to veterans and first responders. We do this by channeling direct funding, in the form of board-voted grants, to cover alternative healthcare costs not covered by insurance. Our mission is that every hero deserves a chance to heal, and every grant we offer provides that chance.

**How do I donate to Hands Helping Heroes?**

You can support our cause by donating via Venmo @handhelping-heroes or by emailing us at hhh@ibwhc.net. Your donation will directly fund the alternative healthcare of veterans and first responders in Colorado. 

**Where does my donation go?**

Your donation goes directly to pre-approved providers in Colorado to cover the costs of alternative healthcare for veterans and first responders. We pride ourselves on being completely transparent about the use of funds. 

**How do I apply for a grant from Hands Helping Heroes?**

You can apply for a grant during our specific application windows each year. For more information on when these windows open, you can reach out to us directly or watch for updates on our website, which is coming soon. 

**When is the next community fundraising event?**

Our next event is the annual Memorial Day Murph at Crossfit Turnberry, scheduled for Memorial Day 2026. For more details, keep an eye on our updates.

70% of all donations recieved go back out to helping our heroes. Part of our by-laws state that the majority of funds raised are to be used for care and cannot be changed. Help us help our heroes.
