The label was established to support and elevate original voices and long-term artistry, particularly those creators who are often overlooked in traditional music spaces.

JGR was founded by Jaeigh Gallagher, a multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur. Born on February 22, 2001, Jaeigh is a Black, disabled, and queer individual who established JGR to give marginalized and overlooked creators a chance to thrive creatively, away from the pressures of charts or competition.

Jaeigh Gallagher Records was originally envisioned on February 22, 2025, and officially established on October 1, 2025.

**What is Supernova?**

Supernova is the debut global co-ed group being developed by JGR. Five talented artists will be chosen as the final group members through the Planet Supernova: The Academy audition and bootcamp process. The final five artists will be announced in September, with a pre-debut single and a docuseries to be launched on Patreon in October.
