**What is VideoTag and how does it work for homeowners?**

VideoTag is a video-first home-services marketplace that allows homeowners to record a short video showing their repair or home improvement project. This video is then posted on our platform for local contractors to review before deciding to connect. The process involves recording, tagging, and submitting a request. After submission, local contractors can view the request and decide if the job is a good fit for them.

**What are the benefits for contractors using VideoTag?**

Contractors can join VideoTag for a more efficient way to assess potential jobs. By viewing homeowner's video requests, contractors can see the job before they go, reducing unnecessary back-and-forth and wasted estimate trips. They can review requests for free and only pay when they successfully win a job.

**What home service categories does VideoTag support?**

VideoTag supports a wide range of home service categories including Handyman Services, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Roofing, and General Home Repair.

**How does VideoTag save time for both homeowners and contractors?**

By utilizing video requests, VideoTag reduces miscommunication that can occur from textual descriptions, speeding up the quoting and triage process. This benefits homeowners by connecting them with suitable contractors more quickly, and helps contractors by minimizing wasted time on unsuitable or unclear jobs.

**Where is VideoTag currently available?**

VideoTag is currently piloting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and nearby areas. However, we are looking forward to expanding our service areas. If you are outside Las Vegas, you can provide your city/ZIP and we will notify you once we expand to your area.
