Movementpdx Music Festival Inc celebrates diverse musical talent in Portland, Oregon.

🎧 We're building Oregon's first festival-integrated DJ Lab. Watch it happen.

From an idea in a curriculum binder to real turntables, real mentors, and a real stage slot — get the inside track as WAX ON! DJ Lab comes to life.

WAX ON! DJ Lab isn't just another workshop tent. It's a 90-day training ground where beginners learn to mix, scratch, and perform — built into MovementPDX Music Festival from the ground up. Right now, we're deep in the build: locking down lab space, lining up gear partners, and recruiting the first cohort of instructors and students.

Subscribe and you'll get:

First access to founding-cohort enrollment (before public registration opens)
Behind-the-scenes updates on space, gear, and mentor announcements
Early-bird pricing on tuition tiers as they're finalized
A direct line to the story of how a festival builds an education program from scratch
This is the ground floor. The needle hasn't dropped yet — but it's about to.🎧

WAX ON! DJ Lab

Frequencies is MovementPDX's recurring, multi-venue live show series in the Portland metro area. It exists to give graduates of the WAX ON! DJ Lab a guaranteed public stage, to pair them with working mentors, and to place both on bills alongside touring national EDM talent — turning a training curriculum into a visible career pathway.
Frequencies is deliberately distinct from the flagship MovementPDX Festival (targeted for June 2028 at Portland International Raceway). Where the flagship is a large, multi-year capital undertaking, Frequencies is a lower-capital, higher-frequency show format that runs at established Portland venues on an ongoing basis. It serves three purposes for the organization:
•	Talent pipeline: every graduating WAX ON! cohort gets a real booking, not just a classroom showcase.
•	Revenue and community bridge: ticketed shows generate operating revenue and community visibility between festival cycles.
