Today we're excited to share with you our major changes at Skip as part of our Winter 2022 Product Release. We've been listening to members of the Skip community these past several months and have 4 product changes to share with you today.

Announcing our 4 Changes to Help Entrepreneurs Go Further

We've made it easier to find out about and apply for funding, faster

First, we've made it easier for you to find out about new funding and grant opportunities and apply for them.

Finding out about finding and applying for funding takes time — and that's often time that entrepreneurs and business owners don't have. We've changed that.

As soon as you open the Skip app (on the App Store or Google Play), you'll be able to see new funding opportunities, save them, apply for them, and get reminders about them.

We've added more expert support to help you beyond funding

Second, we heard from that funding alone doesn't help you grow your business. It takes a concrete road map and plan to make that happen.

So we've expanded our ability to help businesses make more effective use of funding — helping with business plans, road maps, marketing and growth help, and more.

We're committed to expanding our available grants through 2023

Third, we learned that the Skip community is incredible grateful for our grants. We've given our over six figures in grants over the past two years to help entrepreneurs and small business owners.

We've heard countless stories about how these grants, typically ranging from $500 to $5,000, have helped some important aspect of your business.

Many of you asked: Will we continue to give out grants in 2023?

We're announcing today that not only are we continuing our grants through 2023, but we'll be increasing the number of grants available to you.

Fourth, we've heard that many of you have been long-time supporters of information and resources we've put out.

You have helped tell others how to start, fund, or grow their business, in particular telling others about grant and funding opportunities.

We're grateful for all of this word of mouth — and we've now made it so you can be recognized and rewarded for telling others about Skip. We've launched our partner program to make this possible.
