American Express and Main Street America's Backing Small Businesses $5K grant program is not one to be missed. This program, which provided grants to more than 300 small businesses last year, is back with even more funding to help economically vulnerable small business owners build their economic vitality and foster a thriving community.

Applications for the 350 small business grants of $5,000 are now open, so we recommend adding this to your Skip Funding Assistant and applying today! To apply, businesses must meet specific criteria, such as being at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by individuals from diverse communities, including minorities, LGBTQIA+, women, and veterans. Additionally, businesses must operate in a brick-and-mortar location (so must have a physical location) in older or historic main street, downtown, or commercial districts in the United States. Applications close on April 7, 2023.
