We're thrilled to announce that our Skip App is available for preview on the App Store and Google Play! The free app allows you to read our daily Skip content, check the status of your Skip services, and see all of the services we can help you with. Here's a little bit of background on the creation of the Skip App.
Introducing the Hello Skip App
The Skip App (titled "Hello Skip" on the App Store and Google Play) is a long time coming for our team! Since we launched in 2016, our mission has always been to simplify government services and save you time.
We've done this by working on your behalf to book you DMV appointments, answer your DMV-related questions, help you with passports and visas, enroll you in traveler programs like TSA PreCheck and so much more.
Before our Skip App, you could always check your status on your personalized web dashboard. This dashboard would tell you what the status of your service was and give you important updates. This dashboard — and email alerts — was our main way of communicating with you.
Now you have even quicker access to the information you need on our Skip App. Plus for urgent items, we can send you push notifications to be sure you don't miss it.
Goodbye Red Tape, Hello Skip App
On the Skip App you can:

What's Next With the Hello Skip App?
If you're reading this, that means you're one of the lucky few to be able to preview our Skip App, before we make a larger announcement to the general public.
Now's your chance you take it for a skip around the block. And if you want to share feedback with us, let us know here.
In the coming weeks we'll be releasing additional features which we know you'll love — and we'll continue to build Skip based on what's most important to you. This included even more reminders so you never miss a document renewal or expiration date.
As always, our mission will continue to be to help people with government-related services throughout their lifetimes — from driver's licenses to marriage licenses, to passports and name changes, to medicare and retirement.
