American Express and Main Street America created the Backing Small Businesses grant program to support small business owners in building their economic vitality and fostering a thriving community. Here's how the program works:

Must be a person of color, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, veteran, or woman business owner
Must be a brick and mortar (physical store) in an older or historic main street, downtown, or commercial district in the United States
Must employ less than 20 full-time employees
Applications close April 7, 2023
