What are the Sephora Beauty Grants?

The Sephora Beauty Grant is a $100,000 grant program launched by 15 Percent Pledge in partnership with Sephora to support underrepresented founders in the beauty industry. The grant is designed to help an eligible beauty brand unlock its next stage of growth by providing meaningful capital to scale products, operations, and market reach.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must operate a consumer packaged goods (CPG) business that sells a product in at least one eligible category, including beauty, haircare, makeup or makeup tools, skincare, fragrance, or bath and body. Businesses must have been operating for at least one year and generate annual revenue of $100,000 or more. At least one founding member must come from a background that has been historically overlooked in venture capital funding. This includes, but is not limited to, founders who identify as Black, African, African American, AAPI, Hispanic or Latino/a/x, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, women, first-generation immigrants, or founders from low-income backgrounds. Founders from any background that has been traditionally underrepresented may apply. Applicants are required to submit application materials including an elevator pitch video, a pitch deck, and a profit and loss statement.

Who is the grant best for?

This grant is best for established beauty brand founders with proven revenue who are ready to scale production, distribution, or brand awareness. It's especially well suited for CPG businesses that are preparing for broader retail expansion or significant operational growth.

How are the winners selected?

Grant recipients are selected through a competitive review process conducted by the 15 Percent Pledge in partnership with Sephora. Applications are evaluated based on eligibility, business performance, founder story, and growth potential. One business is selected to receive the $100,000 grant.
