Here's what you'll need to get your Wyoming license:
- Proof of identity (state certified Birth Certificate, Valid U.S. passport, certificate of citizenship, valid permanent resident card, or certificate of naturalization),
- Proof of current residence
- Proof of Social Security Number
- Proof of a name change if applicable
Here's what you'll need to do to get your Wyoming license:
- Read the Wyoming Driver Manual and take written practice tests online
- Apply for your Learner’s Permit: submit the required documents and ID at the DMV; consider making a DMV appointment or getting a line waiting concierge
- At the DMV, submit the application for a driver's license, provide proof of your identity and legal U.S. presence, pass the vision test, pass the written test, receive your Learner’s Permit
- You can move on to the next steps towards your new driver's license after you: turn 16 years old, have held your learner's permit for at least 10 days, have completed at least 50 hours of supervised driving practice with 10 hours at night.
- To obtain your provisional driver's license, you'll need to: Surrender your learner's permit, submit your completed behind-the-wheel driving certification, pass a vision exam, pass the DMV driving test
