What You’ll Need to Renew your Arizona Driver License
- Proof of identity, age, and legal presence in Arizona: Minimum of 2 documents from and must be provided as originals or certified copies
- Payment for Class D driver’s license renewal fee, based on your age - 16 to 39 years old: $25; 40 to 44 years old: $20; 45 to 49 years old: $15
- Vision Examination Report (if applicable)
What You’ll Need to Do to Renew your Arizona Driver License in Person
- Complete the application on AZMVDNow.gov
- Gather your documents and visit an MVD office or Authorized Third Party Driver License provider, where you need to have a photo taken and pass a vision screening. Consider making a DMV appointment or getting a line waiting concierge.
- After completing the renewal process you will receive a temporary license.
- Your permanent license will be mailed to the address you provide.
