What are the Gusto Impact Grants Program?
The Gusto Impact Awards is a nationwide awards program that recognizes small businesses making a meaningful impact in their local communities. The program selects winners across five U.S. regions—Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West—and provides a combination of cash funding, advertising support, and payroll services to help businesses grow and increase their visibility.
What are the requirements?
To be eligible, businesses must be incorporated and actively operating for at least one year and be located in the United States within one of the five eligible regions. Businesses must have no more than 75 employees, generate no more than $7 million in annual revenue as of fiscal year 2024, and maintain an active website, email address, and internet access. Applicants must complete and submit the application by the stated deadline to be considered.
Who is the grant best for?
This award is best for established small businesses that are actively contributing to their communities and are ready to share their story. It's especially well suited for businesses that would benefit from increased local exposure through advertising, along with cash support and operational tools like payroll services.
How are the winners selected?
Winners are selected by Gusto through a review of submitted applications, with consideration given to each business's story, community impact, and eligibility. Five regional winners receive a prize package valued at $50,000, including cash, advertising, and payroll services. In addition, runner-up winners in each region receive smaller cash prizes, and selected businesses are invited to participate in regional celebration events.
