Today we’re releasing the biggest update to Skip this year — entrepreneurs and small business owners can now add products and services directly to their business page and accept payments instantly.

For the first time, your Skip listing becomes more than a profile. It becomes a storefront. A place where customers can purchase what you sell, book your services, and pay you in seconds. No third-party setup. No complicated tools. Just connect Stripe once and you’re ready to go.

This new feature gives every entrepreneur the ability to sell, showcase, and grow all in one place — alongside the funding and grant tools that Skip is known for.

Below is a quick walkthrough of how it works and how you can get started today.

    Why We Built Skip Payments

Over one million entrepreneurs use Skip to find grants, funding, tools, and community. But one question keeps coming up:

"Can Skip also help me get paid for what I sell?"

With today’s launch, the answer is yes.

    You can now:

    • Add products or services to your business page
    • Create “Pay Now” links for each item
    • Share those links anywhere — your Skip site, your own website, email, Instagram, or text
    • See your revenue, transactions, payouts, and customers from one dashboard

Whether you sell services, physical products, digital goods, or recurring packages — Skip Payments makes it simple.

Step 1: Create or Update Your Business Listing

Your business listing powers everything on Skip — from grants and discovery to website creation and now payments.

If you haven’t created a listing yet, you can do it in under a minute. Choose your business type, add your name and description, and upload a photo. You’ll instantly get your public page and foundation for selling.

If you already have a listing, this is a great time to update your photo, description, or tags to help customers understand what you offer.

Many business owners also take this moment to click Boost Listing to reach thousands of potential customers — a simple way to get visibility on day one.

    A Bonus: Instant Website Creation

Once your listing is saved, you can also create an instant website from your listing in seconds. It’s optional, but a great addition if you don’t have a website yet or want a cleaner, professionally generated one.

In the video demo, the demo business “Ryder’s Pet Grooming” was created and a website was published instantly, too. You can do the same — your site updates automatically when you update your Skip listing.

Step 2: Connect Your Stripe Account for Payments

Next, click Set up Payments from your listing or Payments tab.

You’ll go through the official Stripe Connect onboarding flow. This includes:

    • Selecting individual, company, or nonprofit
    • Adding business structure details
    • Choosing weekly or manual payouts
    • Setting your statement descriptor (what customers see on their card)

The entire setup usually takes under two minutes. Once complete, Skip is connected to Stripe, and you’re ready to create products and payment links.

Step 3: Add Your Products and Services

After Stripe is connected, you can start adding the items you sell.

    You can:

    • Add one-time services (e.g., grooming, consulting sessions, food items)
    • Add products with fixed prices
    • Add recurring subscriptions (weekly or monthly services)

In the demo, two services were created: “Dog Grooming – Small Dog” and “Dog Grooming – Large Dog.” You can add as many as you need.

For each product or service, generate a direct payment link. You can choose whether to request a customer’s phone number or address depending on your needs.

Once created, these links appear publicly on your Skip page and can also be shared anywhere:

    • On your Skip website
    • On your own website
    • In your Instagram bio
    • In emails, text messages, or DMs
    • During promotional campaigns

When a customer pays, they’ll see a confirmation screen and their receipt, and the funds will go directly to your Stripe account.

Your Public Page: Now a Storefront

Once your products and links are created, your public Skip listing immediately updates.

    Visitors will now see:

    • Your description
    • Your services and products
    • “Pay Now” buttons
    • A confirmation page after checkout

You can also add a 24/7 Customer AI Agent to your page so customers can ask questions before purchasing or book directly through chat.

    Boost Your First Sales

If you want to get your first few sales quickly, you can promote your business page within the Skip community by tapping Boost — this pushes your business in front of thousands of potential buyers for as little as one week at a time.

During some Instant Grant lives, I will also be purchasing services from randomly selected listings — so make sure your products and payment links are live.

    Start Accepting Payments Today

Adding your listing, connecting payments, creating products, and sharing your links can be done in just a few minutes. Once completed, you’re officially open for business within the Skip ecosystem.

Go to the New Payments Page on Skip — and make sure your products are live. Your next customer might be only one click away.

If you want help refining your products or getting your page discovered, our team and AI Teammates are here to support you.
